TIAX attended the 15th International Meeting on Lithium Batteries (IMLB) held in Montreal from June 27th to July 2nd.
The event had about 1300 attendees, almost double the previous attendance, and about 850 technical papers. TIAX had an invited presentation outlining a New Framework for Lithium-Ion Battery Safety, presented by TIAX staff member Brian Barnett.
In addition, four posters were presented outlining major TIAX development activities in lithium-ion batteries. The posters presented by TIAX staff included: 1) Stabilization of Nickelate Cathode Material for Enabling High Energy, High Capacity Lithium-Ion Batteries, 2) Performance of Nitrile Solvent-Based Li-Ion Electrolytes for High Voltage Applications, 3) Investigation of Effect of Ethylene Carbonate Content on Electrochemical Performance of Lithium-Ion Cells, and 4) Pulse Power Measurements and Implications for HEV/PHEV Cell Design.
