Job Summary (Purpose):
Will report to top management and coordinate sales efforts for TIAX’s Li-on battery, scientific instruments and chemical micro reactor technology offerings to the battery, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Presenting scientific information to convey benefits of technologies to key decision makers.
- Develop financial models to compute impact of TIAX technologies on target customers’ business for sales and valuation purposes.
- Serve as a liaison to market research team and executive management to develop and provide market, customer and product analysis data.
- Identify sales targets and cultivate executive level contacts.
- Assist in building sales pipeline and negotiating terms and conditions for milestone based contracts involving upfront fees and services.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, related physical science field, Business Administration or a related field
- Four years of pre- or post-degree work experience in the job offered or in selling a technical product or service offering directly to major corporate accounts in market segments related to medical devices, scientific instruments, chemicals or energy storage.
- Proficiency in financial valuation techniques of companies and technologies.
- Proven success closing large, complex deals.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to do domestic and international travel 25% of time.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
