Incentive Programs
TIAX California designs and administers government incentive programs to drive the adoption of new technologies in the marketplace.
We assist government agencies in incentivizing the accelerated turnover of fleets and the early adoption of cleaner fuels and technologies. Our fleet management and modernization support includes baseline fleet analysis to estimate fuel efficiency and criteria pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions; fleet compliance analysis; and fleet forecasting, planning, and implementation. Our work has led to the successful deployment of thousands of cleaner vehicles to date.
Examples of clients for whom TIAX has performed Incentive Programs work:
- Currently implementing the third year of the California Hybrid Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project for the California Air Resources Board
- Currently implementing the fleet modernization program for the Port Authority of New York-New Jersey
- Supported the California air districts, including the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, and the Sacramento Air Quality Management District, with the design and implementation of numerous vehicle incentive programs
