Long Cycle Life Nano-Silicon Anode

TIAX is developing a nano-silicon/carbon composite anode technology for Li-ion batteries. TIAX has developed an approach to overcome the traditional problems associated with high energy density anodes such as massive volume expansion, high 1st cycle inefficiency, and severe capacity fade. The TIAX anode technology would enable the development of smaller, lighter, and less expensive batteries for automotive applications (PHEV and EV) as well as for portable electronics applications.
